She’s an angel
watching over us
laughing as her spirit soars
higher still into the heavens
Her earthly being rests
sleeping through the night
some may say
she’s no angel – she’s just dreaming
I say that she has angel dreams
that lift her
making her soul shine
her eyes glow
She has beauty within
indescribable with mere words
Her laughter echos
Her tears of joy fall
For she is an angel
an angel of love
an angel of understanding
she shines brightly – soaring
She defends her soul
protects her dreams
refusing to let them take them
For she is an angel on earth
