I am a big Steve Stevens fan and frankly never heard of Knaggs until I learned my other favorite brand is PRS! In the dual pickup position the guitar develops a complexity similar to what the SSC-J delivered when pushed through a Matchless with shimmering grind and enhanced output for overdriven tones . Clean sounds are clear, dimensional, and full of chime. The maple top adds presence while the mahogany fills in the lower mids. It responds beautifully to touch.
